Read the kitchen
See what is getting in the way—layout, equipment, workflow, skill gaps or lost confidence.
For experienced chefs who are done with nights
Years in kitchens taught you far more than how to cook. You learned to manage pressure, read a room, adjust skills, supervise people and keep the whole kitchen moving. Kitchen Confidence turns that experience into practical, daytime work of your own.
Love kitchen work. Hate technology. Still need a modern business that works.

Late finishes.
Years on your feet.
Weekends disappearing.
Knowing you need a different way to work.
You do not have to throw it all away
A change of work does not have to mean leaving kitchens behind. It can mean using your judgement in a setting where patience, coaching and practical leadership matter more than another hundred-cover night.
You may have spent years solving problems nobody put on the menu: lifting a nervous apprentice, adjusting a task for someone who learns differently, reorganising a broken section and helping a team believe they can get through service.
That is not “just cooking”. That is the service. The Kitchen Confidence test
This work suits capable kitchen people with good judgement and good energy around others. Technique matters. Personality matters just as much.
What you could actually do
Kitchen Confidence is practical, person-to-person work: assess what is happening, adjust the environment, coach the skills and stay alongside the person while confidence develops.
See what is getting in the way—layout, equipment, workflow, skill gaps or lost confidence.
Break the work down, demonstrate it clearly and adapt the coaching to the person in front of you.
Supervise real kitchen work until the person can move through it more safely, calmly and independently.
Improve the setup, routines and practical systems so progress continues after the session ends.
What you are leaving
The pace, noise and late finishes keep taking more from your body and your life.
What you are taking with you
Your ability to supervise, adapt, coach and create order becomes the centre of a more personal service.
The part most chefs do not want
You should not have to become a software expert before you can work for yourself.
You still need professional email, records, invoices, accounts and customer communication. We reduce those requirements to a simplified, interconnected method so you can learn the few actions you actually need and let the system carry the rest.
This is not for every chef
If you enjoy researching software, connecting accounts and building your own administration, you may prefer to set the business up yourself.
Kitchen Confidence is for you if you are good with people and kitchens—but poor, anxious or easily overwhelmed with computers.
You are not avoiding technology. You are choosing to use it through one prepared method: open the laptop, follow the workflow, create the invoice, check the payment and return to the work you are actually good at.
A business you can open and use
You purchase the setup once. We connect the working parts, place the business assets under your control and send you the laptop. You learn the small number of actions you need instead of trying to understand every product behind them.
A dedicated computer arrives with the administration tools organised around a small number of repeatable actions—not a screen full of systems to learn.
Your domain, professional email and customer-facing business details are established under your control.
Your ABN details, dedicated account and accounting package connect to a clear quoting, invoicing and payment workflow. Where the service supports it, you can authorise your accountant to access the records remotely.
Enquiry, service and follow-up processes prepared so customers know what happens next.
A prepared assistant to help you organise concerns and draft calm, professional responses for your review.
Allen personally takes you through the complete working setup in plain language, so you know what to open and what to do next.
Why start fresh?
Your memory connects the apps. Your personal inbox holds the enquiries. Your old laptop carries the records. You remember who has paid. You work out what to say when something goes wrong.
That is not freedom from night service. It is a second job in administration.Kitchen Confidence income, expenses, messages and appointments do not disappear into your personal life or an old business setup.
Every part is configured to work with the others. When we hand it over, we both know what is installed, connected and ready.
The laptop, domain, accounts and business information are established for your business—not held inside somebody else’s agency system.
You do not spend months comparing laptops, accounting packages, email systems and booking methods before serving one customer.
The reason to buy the complete system
Choose software. Create accounts. Connect payments. Separate records. Build email. Work out bookings. Fix problems.
Open the configured laptop. Learn the workflow. Meet the customer. Manage the kitchen. Send the invoice.
One purchase. Personal configuration. Your equipment and accounts remain under your control.
No ongoing management fee to us. Any third-party renewals or subscriptions are explained before handover.

Personally set up in Adelaide
I’m Allen Wade. I personally configure the laptop, domain, professional email and connected administration system for your business. Once we agree that the setup fits, I work through it with you in plain language and show you the small number of actions you need to use it.
The setup is completed here in Australia and established under your control—not outsourced overseas and not locked inside an agency system.

$2,995 is the one-off Kitchen Confidence setup price. Any third-party renewals, subscriptions, registrations or insurance are separate and confirmed before you proceed.
Straight answers
You can improvise, but then old files, personal messages and unrelated accounts become part of the new operation. A clean setup makes the business easier to understand, reconcile, support and eventually hand to an accountant.
You must have an ABN suitable for your sole-trader activity. An existing sole-trader ABN may be usable; that should be confirmed for your circumstances. Kitchen Confidence is a fresh operating setup, not a claim that every person needs a second ABN.
Australian sole traders are not legally required to use a separate business bank account, but we make a dedicated account part of this setup because it keeps customer income and business expenses in one clean financial lane.
There is no ongoing management fee paid to us for the setup. Services you own—such as domain renewal, accounting software or other chosen subscriptions—may have their own ongoing charges. These are identified before handover.
The system is designed so you can grant your accountant access where the selected accounting service supports it. Your accountant remains responsible for deciding what access and accounting arrangements are appropriate.
Yes, a compatible payment provider or Tap to Pay option may be added later, subject to its eligibility, device and fee requirements. Payment-terminal or Tap to Pay setup is not automatically included in the base package.
Important terms
This is a plain-English website summary. Before payment, you will receive a written scope and agreement for your particular setup. That written agreement takes priority if anything differs from this page.
The package covers the agreed laptop, configuration, domain and email setup, accounting workflow, administration tools and personal handover described in your written scope.
You must provide accurate identity and business details, maintain an appropriate ABN and dedicated account, approve account creation and keep your recovery information secure.
Business accounts are established under your control wherever the provider allows. You decide who may access them, including any accountant or bookkeeper.
Domain renewals, accounting subscriptions, banking, payment processing, insurance, registrations and other third-party charges are separate unless your written scope expressly includes them.
The $2,995 price does not include ongoing bookkeeping, accounting, IT support, business administration or management. Additional work is quoted separately if requested.
The setup provides business infrastructure. It does not guarantee customers, referrals, revenue, profit, suitability for a particular program or approval by another organisation.
Remote accountant access and future Tap to Pay features depend on the chosen provider, its eligibility rules, compatible equipment and its fees. Tap to Pay is not included unless stated in writing.
Any cancellation, replacement or refund rights are governed by the written agreement and applicable Australian Consumer Law. Nothing on this site excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Before you book the call
The phone call is not a software demonstration. It is a practical conversation with Allen about whether your kitchen experience, personality and preferred way of working suit the Kitchen Confidence model.
Your email will open with a short checklist. Add your phone number and the best times for Allen to call.
Ready for a different kind of kitchen work?
Every month spent “working out the setup” is another month in which night service remains the default. Tell us about the kitchens you have run, the people you are good at helping and the administration you do not want to build. We will help you decide whether the complete setup fits.
